Planet Earth is home to millions of creatures, each one unique for many different reasons. One way the common Bumble Bee stands out is its means of communication. In this short segment from the film BugWorld the host Shelvis shows us how extreme these insects can get!

Award Winning Bugs

Our last film was a half hour educational comedy called BugWorld. Like UG3 it was a blend of 2D, Stop-Motion, and 3D animation, along with traditional puppetry; and it covered the realm of insects, arachnids and other creepy crawlies. BugWorld made its premier at the Los Angeles International Children’s Film Festival and won a Best Film Award from Kids First – the largest film organization in the world for children and teens.  Below are a couple of segments from the film.

I mentioned that I would post pieces from older projects as I.G.G. moves along. This is a short section from the 30 minute video Bugworld. It examines the world of ... Yes bugs. This short piece incorporates stop-motion animation, puppetry, motion graphics and Flash animation.

Intro The Be A Know It All Roadshow

While the preproduction work is going on for this project, I'll periodically post clips from earlier work. This is the intro from our previous film BugWorld. It starred another set of characters called the Varmints. Like Intergalactic Gung-ho Gurus it is a mixture of animation and puppetry.
